REBECCA MORENO

I am a filmmaker and cultural and film producer from Northeastern Brazil, currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. I hold a degree in Film and Audiovisual and a master’s in Multimedia Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. My debut project, Lençol Branco, was screened at festivals such as the 24th Tiradentes Film Festival, FEST – New Directors | New Films, Caminhos do Cinema Português, Curta Cinema, PortoFemme, among others. My experience in the industry includes working as a production assistant on Projeto Global by director Ivo M. Ferreira, produced by Som e a Fúria in 2024; KA by Pedro Peralta, produced by Terratreme Filmes in 2025; Não Resta Nada by André Godinho, produced by Terratreme; 13 Alfinetes by João Pedro Rodrigues, produced by Terratreme and Filmes Fantasmas; and Sentimentos Familiares by Mónica Lima, produced by Seara Filmes. Beyond cinema, I am actively involved in cultural production for music and film events. In 2020, I co-created and curated the Mini Webfilm Festival, aimed at promoting small audiovisual productions and fostering exchange and visibility. In 2021, I joined 1/4 Club, an electronic music collective based in Lisbon, where I produce events and curate artists. I have also worked as a freelancer with festivals such as Doclisboa – serving as Volunteer Coordinator in 2023 and Guest Office Assistant in 2024 – and IndieLisboa from 2022 to 2025, where I contributed to the communications team as Communication Materials Manager and content producer. Additionally, I worked at LEFFEST – Lisbon Film Festival as Venue Manager at Cinema São Jorge. With a strong passion for the arts and a commitment to innovative storytelling, I am confident in my ability to bring a fresh perspective and extensive knowledge to any creative project. My authenticity and initiative drive me to manage and produce creative works focused on multicultural narratives and socially conscious collaborations.
